Terms of Service

1. What ScRoll is

ScRoll is a platform that helps players find tabletop role-playing games and game masters assemble groups. We provide the venue: search, applications, chats, reviews and payment handling.

The games themselves are run by game masters, not by us.

2. Who may use the service

You must be at least 16 years old. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement and are able to enter into this agreement.

3. Your account

Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens in your account. If you notice unauthorised access, tell us immediately.

One person, one account. Accounts may not be transferred to anyone else.

4. Rules of conduct

No insults, harassment, threats, discrimination or bullying of any kind.

No unlawful content and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.

No spam, unrelated advertising, or attempts to pull users onto other platforms to bypass the service.

Do not impersonate anyone, circumvent technical restrictions, scrape data or interfere with how the service works.

Breaking these rules is grounds for restricting or closing your account.

5. Your content

Everything you post stays yours. You are responsible for having the right to post it.

By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content within the service — only as far as running the platform requires.

We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

6. Games, game masters and payment

An arrangement about a specific game is made between the player and the game master. ScRoll is not a party to it and does not guarantee the quality of a game, the behaviour of participants, or that a game will take place at all.

Where participation is paid, payment is processed by an external provider. The price and conditions are set by the game master and stated in the listing.

We may retain a service fee — its amount is shown before you pay.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation terms are stated by the game master in the game listing. If a game does not take place through the game master's fault, the payment is refunded.

Disputes are handled by support: write to primus@circleofdms.com. We try to judge fairly, but we are not a party to the dispute and are not a substitute for a court.

8. Our rights in the service

The name, logo, interface, texts and code of the service belong to CDM Software LLC. You may not copy, modify or use them without our written permission.

Names of game systems and other trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

9. Availability

The service is provided as is. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or that data will survive a failure — though we do everything reasonable to that end.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature. Where possible we will give notice of material changes in advance.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect damages arising from your use of the service.

We are not responsible for the conduct of other users — players or game masters.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or close an account for breaking these terms, breaking the law, or threatening the safety of other users.

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.

12. Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are heard by the courts of the State of Wyoming, unless mandatory rules of your country provide otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page. If you keep using the service after a change, you have accepted it.
